The Argyll and Braemar are generally day-wear jackets, worn with a self-coloured tie, or grey tie for weddings, but can be worn with a black tie for evening functions.
Our standard stock jacket is supplied in black fine wool, but we can have fine wool jackets made up in bottle green and navy blue where mentioned above. Additionally we can source cut lengths of fabric in a variety of other colours and indicate the additional price of this above.
Our made-to-order tweed jackets are supplied with real staghorn buttons. Our stock range of tweeds includes charcoal, navy blue, lovat blue, dark green, lovat green and brown.
The Argyll jacket has gauntlet cuffs, the Braemar has cuffs similar to those on a Prince Charlie. Jackets can also be made with plain cuffs. The standard style is a single-button closure and with epaulettes, but both of these features can be varied with made-to-order jackets.
